Dr. Tessa Samuelsen

Education Specialist / Curriculum Trainer

Dr. Tessa Samuelsen is honored to serve as an education specialist and trainer for Chancy and Bruce’s new Developmental Kindergarten Curriculum. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, where she brings her passion for academic excellence to the forefront. She is working in both the MAED and MAEL programs teaching classes that range from child development to education reform. With 11 years of teaching experience in elementary education and 13 years of administrative experience in both private and public schools, Dr. Samuelsen has dedicated her career to nurturing the next generation of educators and leaders.

Dr. Samuelsen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her goal is to instill in each of her students a love of learning and teaching, and the knowledge and skill to transform the field of education for the better. Specializing in leadership, innovation, differentiation, and student engagement, she strives to create impactful educational experiences every day.

Residing in San Clemente, California, with her husband Dan. They have three children: Lydia (21), Layna (19), and Lincoln (16). The family recently welcomed an amazing son-in-law, Hunter. Completing their household is their beloved dog, Buzz. The Samuelsen home is filled with love, bustling with activity, and always welcoming to friends and family.

Every day, Dr. Samuelsen considers it a privilege to serve the Lord by doing what she loves, continuously striving to make a positive impact in the world of education.
